Chase Antonio Carrillo McAteer

Chase Antonio Carrilllo McAteer, Toronto, Canada. Musician from multicultural backgrounds. Along with his sister’s boyfriend and some other friends, they formed a Cover band which played in various tourist places such as Planet Hollywood. Despite the fact that their material was very versatile, what mostly called his attention was rock and hardcore. Chaser began to work in a discotheque called Alebrije, a famous nightclub of great importance to the tourism and local people. Working there is when electronic music started to motivate him.

In 2004 the talented artist moved to the capital of the country to study music production and audio engineering at the University G. Martell incorporated with the Royal College of Music in London, England. During his three University years, he dedicated himself to producing his own material of psychedelic trance music and performing at the same time in festivals of the same genre to present his "live act" as Delirium Tremens.

Graduating in 2007, he decided to continue professionalizing himself and in 2008 he traveled to London, England to study Sound Design at London School of Sound as well as the Art of Mixing at Point Blank Music School. His talent did not go unnoticed by the British musicians and he was invited to perform at multiple events of psychedelic trance events organized by “The Gathering”, producer of events, with his live act. At the end of his stay in London and already having obtained the necessary skills and experience, he decided to tilt his projects toward “House” music. In 2009 after returning to Mexico DF, he started a Recording Studio of audio and music along with a fellow musician. Determined to aim his efforts at producing ‘’House’’ music, he expanded his artistic projects with commercial and vocal touches.

Thanks to this powerful determination and effort Chaser won several electronic music competitions. For instance, in 2012, he won the competition of the Mexican Radio Music Station BEAT100.9 FM - 8th anniversary where the prize was the promotion in national radio of his record "Groovy", in addition to personal interviews, becoming known as a new electronic music talent. ‘’Groovy’’ was included in the commemorative double album which includes world-class quality tracks by talented DJs and producers that is available to the public.

His Track “Top Of The World” has been released in two compilations “Ibiza Residence 2014” and “CONTACTO Vol. 2” by one of the biggest labels from Latin America “+Mas Label” and “EMPO”

At the same time, he worked along with local singers, giving a boost to his projects with a professional production and an electro pop genre. In 2013, he got through to the semifinals of the international contest "Movida Corona" that was held in the city of Acapulco. Shortly after, he was the winner of the Discovery Project, sponsored by Insomniac Production Company, being invited to perform at the Electronic Daisy Carnival Mexico in March 2014.

In this great electronic music festival of international standing, he shared the line up with artists such as Avicil, Axwell, Kaskade, Bingo players, Show Tek, Steve Angello, A-track, Stefano Noferini, Krewella, TJR, Dj Snake, Boyz Noize, Mark Knight, John Digweed, among others. Also he played with EMPO and DVBBS on the 10th Aniversary of Jose Cuervo Salon. His song “Top Of The World” is at Game & Music 2048 an app of EMPO. Currently, he resides in Mexico, D. F. where every day after exercising, he works at producing new material of exceptional quality, with a wonderful artistic talent that most assuredly will keep on giving us a lot to talk about in a short time.
