Charles Modzinski

Charles William (Chuck) Modzinski (February 22, 1963 –) is an American computer programmer. He has lived in the United States his entire life, save the time he was in the United States Navy.

Early Life

Charles was born just south of Detroit, Michigan. His father Charles Joseph Modzinski was a pipefitter at Ford Motor Company, while his mother Dorothy worked at Prudential Insurance. He has two older sisters, Nancy and Sally and a younger brother, John.

Growing Up

Charles was born with a lazy eye, which could not be corrected. He was near sighted growing up and wore glasses. He was a very sensitive and intelligent child. He would cry at small problems and was always at or near the top of his class. He attended elementary school at St Mary's of Redford Elementary School, junior high at Shelby Junior High and high school at Dwight D Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township, MI.

Achievements

Charles excelled in most of his classes and won the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) state championship for extemporaneous speaking in 1981. He also appeared in three plays in his senior year. He helped found a Games Club at Eisenhower.

College

Charles attended Oakland University where he gained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1986. He majored in Electrical Engineering. He returned to Oakland after spending four years in the United States Navy and received a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He majored in Computer Science.

Navy Time

Chuck (as he was known during his Navy time) spent four years in the US Navy. He was attached to VAQ-133 for three years. He made two cruises. The first was on the USS Coral Sea in 1989 and the second was on the USS Forrestal in 1991.

Work Time

Chuck worked at General Motors from 1997 through 2001, through Ajilon Consulting. He then worked at the Ford Motor Company from 2002 through 2007, through the Epitec Group. Chuck has been unemployed since July 2007.

Personal Info

Chuck currently lives alone in a condominium in Clinton Township, Michigan. He owes several thousand dollars in back property taxes and is in danger of losing his home. He has never been married but has had several girlfriends. His past two girlfriends both dumped him on Sweetest Day. He is a practicing Catholic and is looking for women to date, but has found that this is very difficult.
