Chandra Prasad Dhakal
Chandra Prasad Dhakal is a Nepalese businessperson. He was born in Amalachaur, Baglung district in western part Nepal. His parents are Late Hiranya Dhakal and Januka Devi Dhakal. He has graduated in commerce from Tribhuvan University. He is the chairperson of Global IME Bank, Nepal, first Honorary Consul of Nepal to Indonesia, executive committee member of the Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, president of the Nepal Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, president of the Nepal Remitters Association,, treasurer of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and member of the Nepal Investment Board constituted by the Government of Nepal.
He owns the IME Group of companies. The following institutions run under the group: Chairman of Himalayan Power Partner Private Limited, IME Automotives Pvt. Ltd., Global IME Bank Limited, Elite Capital Limited, Worldwide Investment Private Limited, Himalayan Power Partner Private Limited (Dhakal is the chairperson of this company), Mountain Energy Nepal Private Limited, IME Oxygen Private Limited, International Money Express, CM Trading, Across Travels & Tours Private Limited.
