Challenger Middlefield

Challenger Middlefield is a private school in Palo Alto, California. It goes from K-8 and includes preschool. Kelly Woods is the principal of elementary and middle school, and Kamilah Abdul-Haqq is the principal of preschool and kindergarten.

This school graduated its first 8th grade class, the Class of 2006, with only 9 students (one student went to the Harker School). The Class of 2007 had 17 students (1 student went to Archbishop Mitty, 4 went to St. Francis HS, and 1 other student went to Menlo School).

Student Council

The current Student Council President is Sanjeet Raman; the current Vice President is Tristan Chu; the current Treasurer is Zora Singh; the current secretary is Roshni Desai; the current Activities Coordinator is Avinash Shah.

There are numerous committees with heads And Co-heads running them, such as: the middle school newsletter (The Middlefield Scoop), catalog sales (a fundraiser) from Great American Opportunities, Inc. (1), an end-of-the-year carnival, a 5th grade fun day (fifth graders spend a day with middle school to show them what Middle School is like), and holiday-themed greeting cards. A long standing classic committee is the Haunted House committee, which runs the Haunted House on Halloween. There is also a well-known Easter committee, which conducts an Easter egg hunt for all the students.
