Chad Manis (born February 13, 1988 in Lakewood, California, U.S.) is an American college football quarterback at the University of Utah (Utah). Manis played his freshman year of college at the Cerritos College in 2006 before transferring to Utah in 2007.

High school career

Chad Manis was a back up quarterback for a few years on the Varsity team at Los Alamitos because the coaches son, Jimmy Barnes was the starter.

After Jimmy left Chad was a senior, and was the for sure starting quarterback. He started four games and did very well, throwing over 300 yards in one game. After winning all four games he got scholarships to a few big division one teams like Michigan State, UCLA, and Utah.

College career

Cerritos College (2006-2007)

True freshman starter

Manis enrolled at the Cerriots College and was the starter. Cerritos went three and seven. Manis completed 111 out of 216 for 1389 yards 13 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.

Transfer from Cerritos

Soon after the season and the school year, Manis quickly excepted the scholarship to the University of Utah.

University of Utah (2007-present)

Manis enrolled at the University of Utah competing for the second string quarterback position. He will still have three years of to play.
