CFC-Kids for Christ

CFC Kids for Christ is a youth (ages 4-12) organization under Couples For Christ, and is a unit of the Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, Inc., a lay Christian organization based in Manila, Philippines.

Kids for Christ, as a family ministry of Couples for Christ, are present wherever CFC is. CFC is now in 78 provinces all over the Philippines; and in 131 countries all over the world, as of the end of November 2005, with over over 1 million members claimed. (All CFC members' children in the 4-12 age group are considered to be members of Kids for Christ).

The International Kids Village

Annually since 2001, Kids for Christ convenes close to 3,000 kids in transition age (9 to 12 years) from all over the Philippines to an International Kids Village in Cebu, Philippines.

The 10th International Kids Village will be held in Baguio City, Philippines on April 27-29, 2007.

The School Based Program

KFC is established as a school club in selected grade schools. It consists of a girl's as well as a boy's school model.

Work with the Poor

Working towards introducing the KFC members to the cause of the poor - they have launched "Piso Para Sa Kapatid Ko!" (A Piso for my sibling/brother/sister). It is a campaign for Kids members to fill up 2,400 coin banks to be used to support the education of the less fortunate children of Bagong Silang, a squatter relocation community in Caloocan, which is Couples for Christ's center for its "Work with the Poor" program. KFC also staged a play entitled "Regalo! Regalo!" (Gift! Gift!), which showcased the talents of the members of KFC and the SAGIP Program. It dealt with the importance of family values, friendship and the need to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.
