Cécile de Maron

Cécile de Maron (formerly von Lahnstein) was a fictional character on the German soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love), portrayed by actress Yvonne Burbach from October 24, 2001 to January 23, 2006.

She was married to Johannes von Lahnstein (Thomas Gumpert) and, at the time of her death, to his son Leonard von Lahnstein (Lars Korten). After her divorce from Johannes she worked in the bar 'No Limits' as a waitress. Cécile's best friend was Charlie Schneider (Gabriele Metzger).

When Cécile arrived in 2001 Düsseldorf, she wanted to live without her aristoratic family. She met Henning von Anstetten (Patrick Fichte) and fell in love with him but he had strong feelings for his half-sister Marie von Beyenbach (Solveig Duda). After it came out that Henning and Marie weren't siblings (it was a plot from Tanja von Anstetten (Miriam Lahnstein)), he left Cècile.

In late 2003, Cécile met Johannes von Lahnstein. Both got married a few months later. After the wedding, Johannes' son Leonard came back from the USA and fell also in love with Cécile. She had feelings for him too and both began an affair with each other. A drama began and when Johannes finally found out the truth, he promised his son, that he will never forgive him. But Cécile died, together with her unborn son, in a car accident and Johannes could finally forgive Leonard.
