Caus - Centro arti umoristiche e satiriche
The Centro Arti Umoristiche e Satiriche (C.A.U.S.) Centre of Humorous and Satirical Arts, is born in 1984 at Torino.
Its founders, Giorgio Cavallo and Raffaele Palma, managed in a brief time to bring together a group of Italian humorists and other enthusiasts without any political or other axes to grind. It’s highly innovative approach to popularising humour among the Italian public, at work and elsewhere, captured the Italian media’s attention.
Its activities have been developed in the fields of art, graphics, communication, the environment and architecture, but also in education and pedagogy, in schools and universities, involving both students and teachers.
It has promoted exhibitions, shows, conferences and debates at a national and international level, carrying out valuable research and publishing numerous works on a non-profit basis.
