Cash Warren

Cash Garner Warren (born January 10, 1979) is an American film producer, and is the husband of actress Jessica Alba.

Early life and education

Warren was born in Los Angeles, California on January 10, 1979, the son of actor Michael Warren. Warren Junior attended high school at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, where he played basketball with his friend Baron Davis, who is now an NBA basketball star. After Crossroads, Warren attended Yale, where he later graduated.

Career

Warren started his career as a Los Angeles film and television crewmember, director’s assistant, and producer in 2004, with his first project being Taxi (2004), as an assistant to the director, Tim Story. However, this did not raise his profile greatly. Warren was again given the opportunity to work as a director's assistant for Story when Story directed Fantastic Four.

Warren produced the 2006 film Rising Son: The Legend of Skateboarder Christian Hosoi, and most recently, The Baron Davis Project, starring Baron Davis. Warren and Davis also formed a production company called Verso Entertainment.

Personal life

Whilst on the set of Fantastic Four, Warren met Jessica Alba, who starred as Sue Storm. They started dating in the fall of 2004 and were engaged in late December of 2007. The couple married on May 19, 2008 at the Beverly Hills courthouse.

On June 7, 2008, Warren and Alba had their first child, a girl they named Honor Marie Warren.
