Notable Cases

CSF&W represented the victim of a fairly common knee surgery which went horribly wrong. The patients allograft resulted in horrible infections and more than eight additional surgeries. CSF&W won the plaintiff, who was an active and competitive runner, compensation for no longer being able to work, run in races, and having to abandon his active lifestyle.

CSF&W represented the plaintiffs in a First Amendment case about free speech. The plaintiffs won the right to hang flags and banners from freeway overpasses. In the aftermath of 9/11 police officers were removing some banners and allowing others to stay, specifically allowing the U.S. Flag to stay but removing peace oriented signs. This was deemed a violation of free speech.

CSF&W represented a plaintiff-victim who suffered brain damage as a result of being shocked by a TASER stun gun. CSF&W is among the few law firms in the country who have had success in lawsuits regarding the potential defects in TASER electronic control devices.
