C.Ariel Wulff
C. Ariel Wulff (April 26, 1960 - ) is an American writer and artist, who worked in the comics industry from 1998 - 2001.
A Cleveland, Ohio native, and former graphic artist, Wulff worked as an inker and letterer with comic creators Barry Blair & Colin (Walbridge) Chan on the titles: Legend of the Elflord, Lynx, Sapphire, [...] Sweeney, Demon Hunter, Dark Island and Sno. Her artwork appeared in the pages of Indy comic Legend of the Elflord and on the cover of Indy comic Elfquest. She received a nomination for the R.A.C. "Squiddy" Award for Best Cover Artist in 1998. Her illustrations have also appeared in the San Diego Comic Con Program book in 2002 and 2003.
Wulff created artwork and wrote for the Elfquest comic fanzine Sendings(1998-2000), producing a series of articles interviewing the writers and artists of Elfquest, and is credited for her editing help in "The Wolfrider's Guide to the World of Two Moons." She wrote and pencilled the special collector's EDition Elfquest ashcan comic Pack Mates with artist Nicole Tadgell.
Wulff dropped out of the comic scene in 2002 due to illness. Since then, she has written a non-fiction memoir AbOUT companion Animal Rescue: Born Without a Tail (2007), and an article for Pet Planet Magazine. She intermittently produces comic style paintings featuring her original yelodoggie character.
Wulff and her Lifemate live in Ohio's Cuyahoga Valley.
