Founded in 2003 and based in Ottawa, CareerAIM.com indexes over 200,000 new Canadian job postings per month from thousands of sources including company web sites, usenet, and jobs posted directly to the site. The site also offers career advice articles and extensive help on searching for jobs, and is available in French and English, Canada's official languages.
The job search engine provides a range of search tools, including a simple keyword and location search, boolean searches, and an advanced search form. New jobs are added daily, and alerts can be set so that new jobs matching a pre-defined search are emailed automatically.
CareerAIM.com is available for free, and extended features and job data are available to paid subscribers. The CareerAIM Library EDition is available through many Canadian libraries through a distribution agreement with the Online Computer Library Center.
