Campden Media

Campden Media is an international publishing and media company, producing magazines, events, and research for the healthcare and private wealth industries.

The company was founded in 1987 in London, and currently has other offices in New York, San Francisco and Singapore. Its products are supported by professional organisations including the Royal College of General Practitioners, the NHS Alliance, and the Family Business Network.

The company is currently divided into two units, producing eight magazines between them. Campden Health provides information on European healthcare markets for both suppliers and clinicians. It publishes three UK magazines under its Campden Primary Care brand:

  • Nursing in Practice, for primary care nurses
  • Management in Practice, for primary care managers
  • GP Business, covering policy and financial issues for general practitioners

It also publishes three Europe-wide magazines under its Campden Secondary Care brand:

  • Hospital Pharmacy Europe, a bimonthly magazine for hospital pharmacists
  • Hospital Information Technology Europe, a quarterly title for the hospital IT sector
  • Hospital Imaging and Radiology Europe, a quarterly magazine for radiologists

Campden Secondary Care also publishes Hospital Healthcare Europe, an annual report surveying developments in European hospitals, published in association with HOPE, the European Hospital and Healthcare Federation.

Camden Wealth produces information and publications for business-owning families and the family offices that manage their wealth. It currently publishes two magazines:

  • Campden FB, a quarterly magazine for high net worth families that own businesses;
  • Campden FO, a quarterly magazine for family offices

It also produces research on the investment strategies of such families, and runs a range of conferences for the same audience in cities including London, Moscow, Singapore and Geneva.

In 2011, Campden Wealth acquired the Institute for Private Investors, a New York-based private membership organisation that offers networking and investor education to high-net-worth individuals.
