California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) is a professional association representing California State Licensed Naturopathic Doctors. CNDA prides itself on maintaining a membership composed of California's NATURAL Medicine Experts.

CNDA Overview

The CNDA strives to ProgresS expanding licensure efforts of California NDs, educate Californians on the benefits, education, and necessity of naturopathic medicine, and support individual efforts and ongoing educational opportunities for our members. With a Board of Directors composed of experts in the field, seasoned financial advisers, experienced non-profit personnel, and legislative consults, the CNDA is positioned to provide Californians with a qualified team to enhance their opportunity to experience the benefits of naturopathic medicine.1

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a unique system of health care that addresses the causes of disease, not just its symptoms. Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are the only Primary Care Providers who are clinically trained in both natural and conventional medicine. Naturopathic Doctors practice integrated, holistic medicine, combining the latest in scientific research with the wisdom of traditional natural therapies. Naturopathic Doctors seek to restore health and promote wellness using the safest, most effective and least invasive therapies available. NDs primarily use a wide range of natural therapies, but also write prescriptions for pharmaceuticals when appropriate. The result is patient-centered medicine that provides the best treatment for everyone’s needs. Licensed California NDs attend 4-year, post-graduate medical schools accredited by the US Dept of Education. NDs are trained in the same medical sciences as MDs, including the latest advances in medicine, with a focus on natural approaches to treatment.
