Stages
Each stage includes its own customers (except for the future), comics, background design, and all include the same mini-games. Also, the player receives a trophy for completing each stage:
- Jurassic Period: Jill must find Agent Bundt, and a T-Rex offers himself to tell Jill where he is if he gets something in return, so Jill prepares cakes for him, the other dinosaurs, the monkeys and cavemen. After completing the task, Jill uses the Time Bender to teleport Agent Bundt to the present.
- Forbidden City: Jill saved Risha, but it needs to bake cakes for the Emperor, and for all China. After completing the task , Jill needs help for the emperor and teleports Risha to the Present.
- Ancient Egypt: Jill must save her grandpa from the top of a pyramid, but first it needs to impress the Pharaoh. After completing her task, she uses the Egyptians to complete the pyramid, and saves her grandpa, and then teleports him to the Present.
- Medieval England: Jill needs to demonstrate to Merlin that her Grandma isn't Endora, so Jill bakes cakes to prove her Grandma's cooking abilities and make Merlin find Endora and marry them. After finding Endora, Jill teleports her grandma back home.
- Revolutionary France: Jill must free Tiny from the Bastille after he eats all the bread and caused a food shortage, but she needs to impress Marquis and Marie. Resolving the shortage problems with her cakes, she frees Tiny and teleports him back to present.
- Future: As Jill teleports everyone back home, there was someone who didn't get to the end: herself! As there seems to be no hope, a new world appears, and Jill enters it, but finds that the Time Bender has a problem, and now customers from all the times were brought to the future. So, Jill needs to become the Supreme World Baker to have the scientist fix the Time Bender. She chooses Marquis de Cake to organize activities and get the Time Bender fixed and go home with Jack and her family and all customers back to their age. Managing to accomplish her goal, she gets back home.
As Jill gets back home, she realizes that she forgot something, her wedding cake, so she prepares one. Then she and Jack are married by Tiny.

Cake Mania: Main Street
Cake Mania: Main Street is the 5th game to be released by Sandlot Games based on the original Cake Mania. New features include the ability to play as Jack, Risha, and Tiny in establishments other than the Evans Bakery.
Plot
Newlyweds Jill and Jack return to Jill's hometown of Bakersfield only to discover Jill's favorite spot, Main Street, is all but abandoned thanks to the flashy new mega-mall, Bakersfield Corner. Distraught by the idea of her beloved Main Street's fading life, Jill comes up with A Plan to get Main Street business booming again with the help of not only her baking expertise, but also the business skills of Jack, Risha, and Tiny.
Stages
There are four Main Street locations, each with 25 levels. Each is run by a different character and has its own comic which ties in with the overall plot. Customers are the same across all four locations, but some - like the Cupids - act differently given the location. Trophies are received for unlocking a new location as well as completing the location. Unlike before, once a location is unlocked, players have the option of going from one location to another without being forced to complete all 25 levels first. The four locations are:
- Evans Bakery: Run by Jill, it is immediately unlocked upon the start of the game. Gameplay is exactly the same as it is in Cake Mania 3 including the same upgrades. During game play, Jill mainly discusses specific customers she expects to see during the day and then recaps in a humorous way following completion of a level. There are a few mentions of other things such as feeling ill or the plan to bring down Bakersfield Corner.
- Burger Barn: Run by Jill's husband, Jack, it is unlocked after completing level 2 of Evans Bakery. Gameplay does not follow the same pattern of previous Cake Mania games. Players view customers and their orders from behind the actual counter and have to fill orders by placing ingredients onto the customers' trays in a specific order. During game play, Jack remains a clueless, albeit sweet, character who comments on all of the other characters as well as his marital life. The two most common topics during Jack's levels are that of house hunting with Jill as well as her somewhat strange behavior as of late.
- Risha's Flowers: Run by Risha, it is unlocked after completing level 5 of Burger Barn. Gameplay is identical to the Evans Bakery excepting the machines produce flowers and instead of frosting a cake, players place flowers on a machine that wraps them. During game play, Risha is portrayed as a city-loving gal with a soft spot for Bakersfield, even if only for Jill's sake. It is constantly mentioned that Risha is single, but she is not interested in finding love in the small town of Bakersfield. A particular customer known as Super Matt, who is ironically allergic to flowers, continually hits on Risha throughout her 25 levels and even employs the Ninjas and Cupids to aid him in winning Risha's affection. In the end, Risha still seems adamant that she could never fall for someone like Super Matt; however, admittedly semi-wishes he were around to help her with another more annoying customer, a hippy with an incessant craving for tacos.
- Sumo Sushi: Run by Tiny, it is unlocked after completing level 8 of Risha's Flowers. Gameplay is identical to that of Burger Barn, however with seafood as the cuisine. During gameplay, elements of Tiny's past are revealed. His town was once destroyed by a mutant octopus, leaving him with a hatred of squid (not as cuisine, but in general). The destruction of his family's livelihood forced his parents to place Tiny in the care of the Makomato (a fictional Sumo sect) for his education. Tiny angered the Makomato when he fairly defeated their Sumo champ and has been somewhat in hiding since. Tiny cannot prepare a dish called fugu because he failed to complete his final exam. He believes the dish is too dangerous to even attempt.
Including unlocking all locations, players also have to buy attractions for the town such as the "World's Largest Cake" and a statue of Jill Evans herself.
In the end, Bakersfield Corner is shut down and replaced with the world's largest golf course. The main characters are shown celebrating and most of the customers also make appearances. Jill is exuberant that her plan has succeeded and that Main Street is once again the perfect place for families to spend their time. Her emphasis on families and children causes her to momentarily zone out and upon coming back around she vaguely implies that she is not only pregnant, but possibly with twins.
