B'wa Kell

The B'wa Kell is a Goblin crime syndicate in the Lower Elements within the Artemis Fowl book series. The group was led by three goblins, the Goblin Triad, including General Scalene. During their rebellion, the B'wa Kell was co-headed by elf Briar Cudgeon and pixie Opal Koboi (also the antagonist in the fourth book of the series, The Opal Deception). The B'wa Kell smuggled batteries from the human race for weaponry of lethal softnose lasers and started an insurrection that nearly destroyed Haven, the capital of the fairy people. These struggles happened during Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident. However, due to the treachery of Cudgeon, all of the revolting Goblins were completely incapacitated and later arrested, thereby disbanding the criminal organisation for good.

Members

Known members are Opal Koboi and Briar Cudgeon. As mentioned above, it mainly consists of Goblins. Koboi Industries employees were involved in the B'wa Kell. The group also consisted of the triad that were in charge. General Scalene is one of the triad, but he was later blown up by Opal as part of her plan to kill Commander Root and Holly Short in Book 4. The other members of the triad are General Sputa, General Phlegm and Lieutenant Nyle. .
