Bully is a fictional character from the animated children's television series The Animals of Farthing Wood based upon the books of the same name by author Colin Dann. Bully is a large grey town rat from the town the Farthing Wood animals passed on their journey. He is always accompanied by a duo known as Brat and a brown scruffy follower known as Spike.
Bully the rat came to the park with the intention of taking over. He vowed to kill or drive out all the other animals as he deemed their old home in the sewers too degrading. His rats only manage to kill Sinuous the adder though, to which in comparison hundreds of rats perish in revenge by Adder.
Bully's only fear comes from weasels. Otherwise he fears nothing, from entering a fox's den and standing up to a human gun. His power comes from his powerful tail, which he uses like a whip to any who disobey. One of the weasel offspring bites his tail off he loses the respect of his followers, and they eventually all leave the park back to the sewers.
