Bruce Kopp
Bruce Kopp is an American television news anchor and reporter in Indianapolis, Indiana. He currently anchors the morning news at WTHR, the NBC affiliate, in Indianapolis.
Career
Kopp began his career anchoring the weekday news at WEHT in Evansville, Indiana. He would move on to anchor the weekend news at WOTV (now WOOD-TV) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He joined WTHR in May, 1983 as a business and labor reporter, before becoming weekend anchor in 1984. He began anchoring the morning news in 1989.
Education
Kopp graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois with a bachelor's degree in Radio and Television. He received an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Triton College in River Grove, Illinois.
He attended Proviso West High School in Hillside, Illinois, and is originally from Northlake, Illinois in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Personal Life
He currently lives in Avon, Indiana and is often involved with youth sports.
