Bridge architect
Bridge architects, or bridge designers, are professionals in architectural firms or firm practicing landscape architecture engaged in designing bridges. Following Arup's definition "bridge architects, or bridge designers can be considered those professional who have been designing bridges with a specific concern for aesthetics for at least ten continuous years, or that have been involved in at least one hundred projects over time or that have been involved in the actual construction of ten bridges."
Notable bridge architects
Prominent historical bridge architects have included the Italian engineer Sergio Musmeci and the Swiss architect Hans Ulrich Grubenmann.
