Brian Wicklow

Brian Wicklow is a fictional character portrayed by Matthew Kelly in two 90-minute ITV1 dramas; Cold Blood (2005) and Cold Blood II (2007.) A three part series is airing from 20th June 2007-4th July 2007. It co-stars John Hannah as an ex con who has served time in jail who helps the police get inside Wicklow's mind.

Synopsis

Cold Blood

Wicklow is serving life in prison for the [...] of eight women and a small girl. The girl was killed when she walked in on him attacking her mother. Leaving his intended victim, he kidnapped the girl, murdered her then hid the body that hasn't been found since.

Cold Blood II

Wicklow hangs one inmate in his cell and beats up the other to within an inch of his life. It is revealed that he turned to [...] after being abused by his sister, just as he manipulates the beaten inmate into torturing and [...] her out of revenge.

TV Series

In the 3-part TV Series, Wicklow has only appeared in Episode 1 so far in which he is stabbed in the back in the prison showers. Meanwhile, Osborne is stalked by a man (played by Russel Brand) who was his pen pal while serving time (for shooting his wife and a man he found having [...] with her) and whom Osbourne thought was a woman. A sub-plot features in each episode in which the team solving a case.

Episode 1

A boy called Chris who has learning disabilities is released from jail after four years for being accused of murdering a girl and the team must work out if he was wrongly acquitted.

Dead and Buried

A man is blown up during an army training exercise. During the post mortem, it is discovered that there is the remains of a women there as well, and they later find the body of a man in the local river who is found to be another victim.
