Brian Richard

Brian Richard (born January 5, 1979) is an American pop artist, and graphic designer.

Early work

After a brief stint as a musician in his late-teens/early-20’s where he created album inserts and gig flyers for his musical projects, he continued to pursue his art for the next several years. During this time, he became a self-taught website designer and graphic designer creating projects for Rebirth DJ Crew, Caligula, Dellfold Entertainment, and more.

Post Katrina Work

In August 2005, he lost all of his art pieces when his home was swamped by the flood waters following the Hurricane Katrina levee break. After returning to New Orleans, he adapted to using Photoshop and a pen tablet as his primary art medium mostly creating digital artwork. When asked why, he said that it he can back-up his digital artwork online and not have to worry about losing any other artwork to a natural disaster.
