Brandon Wilcox
Brandon Wilcox, born 1968, a tragedian/private equity fund producer and HD Gathering founder, is part of the New Orleans cultural Renaissance. He has recently announced the launch of "HD Gathering", a philanthropic multimedia event meant to bring attention to the battered city devastated by Hurricane Katrina, to fuel the recovery of New Orleans this October 24-26, 2008.

HD Gathering New Orleans panned out to be a failed effort. The philanthropic goals were never begun, much less successfully completed.
No symposium as planned was held, instead a DJ night at the New Orleans Harrah's Casino was held as a substitute event.
It is believed that the invitation names database may have been no more than an email phishing scam.
No additionally planned events for HD Gathering have surfaced after the New Orleans event.
It is widely held that Brandon Wilcox used the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina to promote his event.
