Brandon Davis (politician)

Brandon Davis (born August 21, 1982) is an American businessman and politician. He was the Republican nominee for the Nevada State Assembly in District 34 in 2024 and is a declared candidate for the same seat in the 2026 election. Davis was previously the Libertarian Party nominee for Governor of Nevada in 2022.

Davis is the founder and president of DOGE NEVADA, a third-party watchdog organization composed of technology professionals and economists that reviews Nevada’s public government portals to identify wasteful spending and potential abuse.

Early life and education

Davis was born in Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from Auburn High School in 2000 and attended Southern Illinois University, where he studied mass communications from 2000 to 2002.

Business career

Davis moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in December 2012. In August 2015, he founded MNGR, a Las Vegas-based digital marketing agency, where he has served as chief executive officer.

2022 gubernatorial campaign

In the 2022 Nevada gubernatorial election, Davis ran as the Libertarian Party nominee for Governor of Nevada. He received one of the highest vote totals in Nevada history for a non-Democratic, non-Republican gubernatorial candidate. In January 2023, Davis joined the Republican Party.

2024 Nevada Assembly campaign

In August 2023, Davis launched his campaign for Nevada State Assembly District 34. He won the Republican primary election on June 11, 2024, receiving 2,361 votes. In the general election, he was defeated by incumbent Hanadi Nadeem, receiving 14,441 votes, the highest total recorded for a Republican candidate in the district’s history.

2026 Nevada Assembly campaign

In October 2025, Davis announced his second campaign for Nevada State Assembly District 34, seeking election in the November 2026 general election.

Music career

From 2007 to 2010, Davis was a touring musician, singer, and songwriter for the rock band My Solstice. He later performed as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the rock band Bravo Delta from 2010 to 2019.

Public service and nonprofit involvement

Davis serves as the Representative for District E on the Clark County School District Attendance Zone Advisory Commission (AZAC), appointed by the Board of School Trustees. Since March 2024, he has served as Vice President of Fund Development at Assisting Lives Las Vegas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on supporting children and adults in need in Southern Nevada.

In March 2025, Davis founded DOGE NEVADA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit watchdog organization dedicated to identifying waste, fraud, and abuse in government spending in Nevada, where he serves as president. He was also a member of the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council from 2024 to 2025.

Personal life

Davis resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife, Rebecca Davis, and their two children.
