Boogie Knights (band)

Boogie Knights is the name of a filk and parody band based in Baltimore, Maryland.

Over the years, the Boogie Knights have had many members:

  • Theodoric of York, Medieval Disk Jockey, also known as Dave Keefer (1982-present): sings bass; plays kazoo, tambourine, maracas, and "egg"; chief lyricist.
  • Sir John of Denver, also known as John Scheeler (1982-present): sings tenor; plays guitar, kazoo, and occasionally piano; lyricist, composer.
  • Dionne of Warwicke, also known as Sharon "Smap" Palmer (1987-present): sings alto; plays kazoo and occasional percussion; lyricist.
  • Sarah of MacLaughlin, also known as Heather Scheeler (1997-present): sings soprano; plays kazoo and claviers.
  • Alice, the Cooper's Daughter, also known as Kate Greenberger (2003-present): sings soprano; plays kazoo & occasional percussion.
  • Lady Pinque, also known as Linda Swann (2004-present): sings soprano; plays kazoo and occasional percussion.
  • Krad the Obscure, also known as Keith R.A. DeCandido (2006-present): plays percussion.
