Bonsai Slovakia
Bonsai Slovakia is an international bonsai exhibition AbOUT bonsai, suiseki, and tea. It has been organised in spring time in Nitra, Slovakia every year from 1997. This exhibition is the biggest exhibition of this kind in middle Europe, containing a rich program of demonstrations of bonsai art, tea ceremonies and many other things. Every year, the exhibition has been organised by Vladimir and Alena Ondejcik in cooperation with Bonsai centrum Nitra and Agrokomlpex exhibition area.
Actual year
This event has an 11 year tradition, and it is the biggest bonsai, suiseki and tea exhibition in East Europe (about 40 000 visitors every year). At the Bonsai Slovakia, about 300 bonsai, 100 suiseki and tea plants are exhibited. The international bonsai and tea show, with music and dance performances, is held non-stop in the heart of the exhibition pavilion.
No entrance money is charged for the exhibition or for demonstrations or lectures.
