Bolero Lava

Bolero Lava was a mid-1980s pop punk all-women band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They recorded their first single on the indie label Mo-Da-Mu and their second on Lava Rock Records — presumably their own label.

Although the band recorded only two singles before breaking up, they are acknowledged as a significant influence both on the Vancouver music scene and in the history of Canadian punk rock. The band also performed live on CBC Radio's Brave New Waves; a song from that session, "Easy", appeared on the 1991 Brave New Waves compilation album.
