Bob's Big Adventures

Bob's Big Adventures with Bob Venturini began on 29 May 1993, and airs on Rhode Island Interconnect channel A every Monday at 3:30pm, Saturday at 10:00am, and Sunday at 10:00pm.

The first episode took place at the Quonset Air Show.

Bob Venturini, Host and Producer of An Hour with Bob and Bob's Big Adventures]]Bob Venturini is a Rhode Island television show host, presenting An Hour with Bob and Bob's Big Adventures. He has been a television personality since 1991. He works pro-bono for these public access programs on Cox Cable; legally American cable access performers may not receive compensation.

Each year, (the first Tuesday of December) Bob Venturini and his crew, put together a 4 hour telethon to collect toys for needy children across Rhode Island. The Victor J. Venturini Memorial Toys for Tots Telethon gets its name in honor of Bob's late father, Victor (U.S. Navy) and his late brother, Victor Jr.(U.S. Marines) . The show is broadcast live from the Warwick Mall on Cox Ch 70 and gains the attention of the local media. Attendees include the US Marines, personalities from Rhode Island television stations (Eyewitness News - WPRI-TV, NBC10 News - WJAR, and ABC6 News - WLNE-TV) plus numerous radio personalities from WPRO, WPRO-FM, WHJJ, WHJY, WCTK, WSNE-FM, WWLI, WWBB and many more. Musical guests and 'Who's Who' in New England.

Bob was an extra in the feature films "A Civil Action" and "Meet Joe Black" as part of Bob's Big Adventures which has traveled to more than 25 countries on 5 continents.

Spin-off

Bob's son, Zachary, also has his own show Zachary's Adventures. It is similar to Bob's Big Adventures, instead it follows Zachary on his "adventures". It can be seen on Interconnect A as well, check the link below for more information.
