Boaz ben Frimutel ha Judah
Boaz ben Frimutel ha Judah was the fictional Prince of the Desposyni in Roman Gaul during the 4th Century AD. He was the last prince of the 'Grail Dynasty,' and with his death, the Principality is supposed to have passed to the Frankish House of Sicamber when his daughter Frotmund married Marcomir ex Sicamber of the Salian Franks.
Genealogical controversy
Despite some allegations of "fictional" characters, certain pedigrees of various European peerages, including European royalty, show unbroken heritage to Boaz and previous ancestry. For those willing to consider such, certain western traditions and/or "Empire" derived dogma(s) Appear to conflict with more ancient (and non-agenda driven) genealogical sources which carry a particular line of the House of David forward as a component of this lineage.
Boaz was not the son of Frimutel, but rather was the father of Frimutel also known as Frotmund I. This, to delineate from the first's grandson Frotmund II also known as Fredemundus Desposyni. The recorded ancestry, considered by some reliable, by others not reliable follows:
