As a certified ENERGY STAR builder, BlackRock Developments houses are evaluated by an independent third party to verify the home as been built to ENERGY STAR for New Homes technical specifications.

The Saskatchewan EnerGuide for Houses program is designed to help make a home more energy efficient. Developed in cooperation with the Government of Canada with the intent to assist homeowners in taking the appropriate steps for energy efficiency in their own homes. This program is available until March 31, 2011. Incentives are available for BlackRock Developments houses as an EnerGuide Builder.

Saskatchewan New Home Warranty Program

The New Home Warranty Program of Saskatchewan, Inc. (NHWP) was implemented to provide protection to the new home buyer. Beginning in May 1976 the NHWP was put in place to offer confidence to the consumer in the investment of a new home. All BlackRock Developments homes are covered under the NHWP.
