Bitetti Combat MMA 6 was a mixed martial arts event held by Amaury Bitetti and partners on February 25, 2010 in Brasilia, Brazil. Three of the preliminary fights were broadcast live and free on Sherdog.com, and the rest of the card was available for pay-per-view on BitettiCombatPPV.com.

Background

Paulo Filho failed to appear at the weigh-ins due to personal motives and the fight against Yuki Sasaki, which was to be the main event, was canceled. Promoters tried to put together a last minute bout featuring Sasaki against Daniel Acacio, but Sasaki turned down the fight.

Jeff Monson was scheduled to face Glover Teixeira but did not show up for the weigh-ins. Joaquim Ferreira fought Teixeira in his place.

Fabio Maldonado was scheduled to face Guto Inocente but was forced to withdraw due to a hand injury. A replacement was not found, and the bout was canceled.
