Bishopmill Villa are an amateur football club based in Elgin, Moray, North East Scotland. The club plays in the Moray District Welfare Football Association, and compete in the Planwell Roofing Premier Division with eleven other teams.

The club has been through four names. They were founded as The Bishops F.C., later assuming the name Rising Sun F.C.. In 2004, they became known as Diceys Bar F.C., and then in 2006 as Size Bar F.C. In 2006, they managed 113 goals in 22 league games (while conceding only 35) and also finished runners-up in the Premier Division to rivals Burghead United. The club has seen most of its success in recent years, having won a total of 5 trophies, while reaching a further 2 cup finals.

The club adopted its current name in 2007, when they won the treble — including The Mike Simpson Memorial Trophy, The Planwell Roofing Trophy and the club's first ever League Championship — winning the Planwell Roofing Premier Division by a margin of 8 points after 22 league games played.

Villa play their home games at Deanshaugh in Elgin, however, due to construction work on the pitch the club were forced to play all their home games at Lesser Borough Briggs during the 2007 season.

Club staff

Management

Manager Alistair Burr has been involved with the Amateur League for over 20 years as both a player and manager. He started his managerial career managing clubs such as Ridochs F.C., Moray Precast F.C., Laichmoray F.C. and Thunderton F.C.. After taking charge of Villa, Burr has been at the club for 7 years; leading the club to all 6 of its cup finals. He also led the club to its first League Championship in its history in 2007. Burr is currently the Vice-President of the Moray and District Welfare Football Association.

Assistant manager Davy Ingram has been involved with football in Moray for a number of years; having played in both the Amateur and Junior Leagues. Ingram was captain of the Forres Thistle team in the Junior League during the 1990s. Ingram also played for Villa during its early years right up to 2006, also briefly playing for Lhanbryde United. Ingram joined Villa at the start of the 2006 season. Both Burr and Ingram have previously played alongside each other in the Amateur League.

The club's secretary is Gary Burr (also a player and captain of the club).
