Binita Baral
Binita Baral, (; born: October 8, 1989) is a Nepalese actress, agriculture entrepreneur, and a writer. She made her debut on movie Chapali Height. Since then she has worked on three other Nepalese movies namely, Fullstop, Superhit, Umanga. Binita is also a founder of Bini Di Organic farming. She is an agricultural activist based on Kathmandu, Nepal.
In July 2016, she released her first book Juino (Novel) (Nepali: जुइनो) – a love story between a local teacher and an agriculture activist. In an interview after its release, She said that she had started writing up her personal experience while working at the Bini Di organic farm and finally it turned out into a masterpiece in Nepali writings
Early life
Binita was born in Chitwan, Nepal in October 8, 1989. Her father, Bamdev Baral, was a worker in coke factory and her mother, Bhawana Baral, was housewife. Her primary interests were in dancing and acting. She completed her high school from a government school nearby her parent's home. After completion of her high school, she came to the capital city Kathmandu seeking more opportunities in the film industry. While doing her college, she simultaneously started working in the Actor's Studio. Following few appearances in television commercials, she started to appear in music videos and eventually in big screen at the age of 22.
Professional career
Acting
- Chapali Height (2012): Chapali Height is a thriller, love story from different perspective released in 2012. It CREATES a lot of sensation in Nepali movie industry, leading to second blockbuster movie of the year.
- Full Stop (2012): Full Stop is the second thriller movie of Binita as major female antagonist. But Full stop was not as successful as her previous movie in box office.
- Superhit (2013): Superhit is a science fiction, mystery movie. It has collected plethora of critics as it tried to cover a lot of different areas from horror to fantasy to fiction.
- Umanga (2016): Umanga (Nepali: उमङग) is a story of migrant labors, who work in gulf countries to support their families back home. Umanga depicts hardships and socio-economic disparage among the workers.
Organic farming
After Chapali Height 1 second blockbuster of the year, Binita embarked into agricultural entrepreneurship. She started to work on organic farming nearby the capitol city. In national and international forums, she advocates for healthy foods, healthy lifestyle. Many people consider her as green energy activist as well.

Juino (2016)

Juino (Novel) {language: Nepali (नेपाली )}: Juino (जुइनो) is a love story between a teacher (Ashok) and an agriculture activist (Katha). The novel starts with a random acquaintance of Ashok with a beautiful yet elusive lady (Katha) in a foggy morning in Mid-January. Ashok is an English teacher in a school, where Katha wants to establish an agriculture lab. It depicts what it takes for a lady to establish and run a lab in remote area. The story revolves around how Ashok helped her out despite their differences yet the love they share.
Luriketi (2017)
Luriketi {language: Nepali (नेपाली)}: Luriketi (लुरीकेटि) is an upcoming stories collection written by Binita Baral. It is expected to release in late September 2017.
Personal life
Binita Baral is doing her MBA in Herzing University. She strongly believe that agriculture can be a culture for the young generations 2. She reiterates in media that she does believe Nepal can make significant progress in global market through agricultural revolution including industrialization of organic food produces.
