How it all started
In late 2002, the band only contained 3 of the existing five members; they were Luke Budworth, Henry Booth and Rory Drinnan. Jon was Jack Castledine's guitar teacher at the time and knew of John Williams' drum teacher. A few enquiries were made and Billion Babies were born.
XFM Days
Billion Babies entered XFM's (FM 97.7) Rockschool in December 2006. In a voting poll system, Billion Babies ended up as finalists and were featured on Manchester's very own 'Channel M.'The winner was finally announced. Billion Babies were winners and got to perform at the Manchester Apollo supporting the 'Manic Street Preachers' and won £1000 of musical equipment for their respective schools.
At Present
Billion Babies songs are now being sold on 'iTunes' and they are looking forward to many great gigs in the future.
