Bidvine
Bidvine is a UK-based online service that matches customers with local service professionals.
History
Bidvine was founded by Sohrab Jahanbani, Daniel Stuart, and Russ Morgan in September of 2014 and launched as part of the Techstars London 2014 Winter cohort. In 2016 Bidvine was one of 6 companies accepted in the 500 Startups London Distro Dojo. Stuart and Jahanbani previously founded GoNabit, the first daily deals site in the Middle East market, which was acquired by LivingSocial in 2011.
Bidvine offers over 800 services across fitness and wellness, learning, events and home improvement.
In the May of 2016, Bidvine organised a week’s worth of free piano lessons to members of the public in London St. Pancras station in partnership with Fireworks Music School. This was in response to the government cuts to arts funding and to raise awareness of the importance and benefits of learning to play musical instruments.
