Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology
Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, an engineering college affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, was opened in year 2007 in Rohini, Delhi, India.
Location
BPIT, located near Delhi College of Engineering, has a well developed campus of over 5.64 acres and is AbOUT 1.5 Km from Rithala Metro Station through Metro walk Road. Currently, the building has 4 stories constructed (with the provision of raising 2 more floors) and has a provision for 4 elevators, one of which is already in operation. The institute is situated at a prime location on a 45m. wide road, separating sector 17 and sector 11, Rohini, adjacent to Railway Reservation Center. It is thus well connected with all parts of Delhi through the public transport system.
Infrastructure
BPIT has spacious and well furnished classrooms, a Drawing Hall, well equipped laboratories, a computer center,well constructed playground for cricket, football,basketball, volleyball, workshops and a modernized conference/seminar hall having provision of PA system, individual microphones and a LCD/Plasma projection system. Quality equipment has been provided in all the laboratories commensurate with the curriculum of IP University.
Computer and the Internet
The computer center houses a large number of computers of P-IV specification equipped with the latest software and hardware configuration as per AICTE norms. All the computers are networked through a formatted LAN wiring. The institute has a 512 kbps internet connection being upgraded to 2 mbps. Apart from the computer center there are provisions for internet connection to all the laboratories and faculty rooms.
