Beau Rials

With over 60 successful campaigns and over $1 billion in television sales, Samuel Taylor “Beau” Rials (born September 29, 1962) is recognized as one of the most talented hosts, producer and writer in the direct response television industry. As a former American Rock DJ turned Direct Response Host, Beau Rials has become one of the most recognizable faces on television today. Any given week Beau’s Commercials and Infomercials literally air hundreds if not thousands of times. Beau has been the spokesperson for large companies such as Mitsubishi Electric, MGM, Clorox, Wagner, Johnson Outdoor, Skil Power Tools, Jarden, Cuisinart, and Orange Glo. Plus, his Infomercials have launched such household brands as AeroBed, Medicus Golf, H20 Steam Mops, Topsy Turvy Tomato Trees, and The Wagner Control Spray.

During his radio days, Beau enjoyed stints as a “Rock Jock” in Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles where he spent a combined fifteen years at stations KLOS and KLSX. In addition, Beau would become one of only four full time Host’s the of the Nationally Syndicated radio program Rockline, deliver a weekly rock program in Tokyo, as well as Host over 1,000 shows for Westwood One Network’s Classic Rock Channel. In addition Beau provided his voice to numerous commercials and programs. He’s also Produced and Hosted a new Documentary called Into The Mystic.

Early life

Rials was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but raised mostly in Mississippi. He became a local Dee Jay in Meridian, Mississippi at WMOX in 1978 at the age of 15 and would not soon shake the “radio bug”. After winning numerous Junior Golf Championships, Beau accepted a Scholarship to attend Delta State University and play the sport. In 1983 Rials transferred to The University of Illinois where he received a Degree in Business Administration in 1985.

Career

In 1985 Rials took a job at WJTX in Champaign, Illinois then worked his way to WCKG in Chicago by 1987. In 1988 Beau moved to Los Angeles and began working as a Jock at Classic Rocker KLSX-FM. He would stay at KLSX until 1996, then move “crosstown” to KLOS. Beau was also a staple at Westwood One’s Classic Rock Format from 1990 until 1999 performing over 1,500 shows and was one of only four fulltime Hosts of the legendary syndicated Radio Program Rockline. Beau was even a Host at the Sunset Strip’s Laugh Factory from 1993-1997 bringing on the likes of George Lopez, Rodney Dangerfield, Dave Chappelle and many others.

In 1991 Beau was asked by a Film Director named Mark Solley to appear in a Tony Hoffman Infomercial for a product called Liquid Leather. It would be the first of many and the beginning of the career of the Infomercial world’s most prolific Host.

Personal life

Beau has been married to Brynn (Moorman) Rials since 1992. They have two children, Nick 15 and Sammantha 10. The Rials family resides on 10 acres in Southwest Florida.
