BDSM: It's Not What You Think!
The 2008 film “[...]: It’s Not What You Think!” is a half hour educational documentary about stigma and stereotype that surround [...] (bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism) play and it’s practitioners. The film was conceived of in an interdisciplinary class at San Francisco State University between the Masters in Public Health Students and the Cinema students. It was designed to target an audience outside the community but has been noted to be useful to those within as well.
It should be noted also that the term “[...]” is used to reference all aspects of the community in the film. Whether you are Leather, Kink or [...] and do not consider yourself a part of the [...] community, this film addresses common questions and misunderstandings faced in all of the above lifestyles.-Mistral of The Triskelion Society

Awards
[...]: It's Not What You Think! premiered at the Frameline Film Festival in 2008, and was given Honorable Best Mention at CineKink NYC 2009. It has also screened at Traum-Kino Fetisch Film Festival in Germany and the Porontopia Film Festival in New Mexico.
