B.A.S.K.O.
B.A.S.K.O. (born Robert Miller) is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and fashion mogul from Rochester, New York with roots in South Carolina. He is widely known for his MusicAL contributions to film and television including songs featured in Transformers (Ain't No Game), I Think I Love My Wife (Ain't No Game), The Love Guru (Big Boi), CSI, OC, Making The Band, From G’s To Gents, Pimp My Ride, The Hills, and Melrose Place.
The acronym B.A.S.K.O. stands for Black American Still Kicking On. His first album Mirror was released in 1996 on Riden’ Hi Records. In 2004, B.A.S.K.O. founded So Fly Records and became the label's Chief Executive. He is currently recording his debut album on So Fly Records titled 16-9-13-16 featuring the lead single and video "Featha N Da Fitted." The numbers 16-9-13-16 correspond to the letters of the alphabet and spell out P-I-M-P.
Fashion
In 2008, B.A.S.K.O. founded the clothing label FashionFitted™. According to The Urban Network, The first product line is a collection of fitted hats adorned with feathers appropriately named the FeatherFitted™. The FeatherFitted consists of several handcrafted designs that are currently produced by order and available to purchase online. Its popularity spurred a promotional single and video titled, “Featha N Da Fitted,” released by So Fly Records in 2009.
