Daniel Calliste (born January 3 1981) is a hype man from South Jamaica, Queens, New York that is better know by his stage name, Bang 'Em Smurf. He was one of the founding members of G-Unit.
Feuds
50 Cent
Calliste grew up with Curtis Jackson, A.K.A. 50 Cent. They often protected each other from shootings, and other types of violence. He was one of the founding members of G-Unit. He and Domination left G-Unit the same year it was created. Several "diss" tracks came from both 50 Cent's camp and Calliste's camp. At Summer Jam 2004, Calliste, Domination, and others got close to the stage during a G-Unit performance. Their taunting provoked 50 Cent to take action and resulted in 50 Cent sprinkling water on Calliste and his group. Calliste's group then tried to get on the stage.
Bang 'Em Smurf is currently in a group with Domination called Silverback Guerillaz. Bang 'Em Smurf had appeared in several of 50 Cent's music videos before their split; these were "Rowdy, Rowdy," "Your Life's on the Line" (from the "Power of the Dollar" album), and the music videos "Heat" and "In Da Club," both from Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
