Balraj Singh Bhunder
Balraj Singh Bhunder was an Indian politician and a prominent figure for the Shiromani Akali Dal Political party. He was the National General Secretary of the Youth Wing, Youth Akali Dal. Bhunder was also the Managing Director of Central Cooperative Bank, Mansa, Punjab. He is the son of Sardar Balwinder Singh Bhunder, who is currently a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India, from the state of Punjab. Balraj's brother Dilraj Singh Bhunder is a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
Early Life
Balraj was born on 3 October 1967 to Sardar Balwinder Singh Bhunder and Shrimati Balwant Kaur. He spent his early life living and schooling in Chandigarh. Balraj started showing interest in politics and social work from the very beginning of his life following his father's footsteps.

Dilraj Singh Bhunder, Balraj's brother, is currently a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly<nowiki/>or the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Balraj was always passionate about educating and helping the youth. The Balraj Singh Bhunder University, Sardulgarh is one of the leading colleges in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business Finance and Commerce, Computer Science, Management Studies and Science and Mathematics. Balraj also has a son Gursimrat Singh Bhundar.

Balraj died on 3 October 2007 at his residence in Chandigarh.
