Bale Jyapu

Bale Jyapu is a singer from Nepal, came out with new styles in Nepali music using simple local dialect is still a new name but most believe he has put a great effort in creating new genre in Nepali music, distinct genre, different from main stream media in Nepal and yet with less similarity or different from Western Music which seem to have influence Nepalese music to great deal.

Coming from a Newar background, bale has shown great interest in promoting Newari culture and traditions through his music. मोहनी वल "Mohni Wola" is one of his Newari songs about the festival 'Dashai' in Nepal, most Newars will fine very different yet love it.

bale came out with his debut album 'bale'(बले) in 2006. This album contains 11 songs, 'Jhilke Dai' झिल्के दाई being the cover song. Unlike most Nepali songs/albums, this album contains only few love song and the rest is all about life, culture, politics and the exploitation due to Western influence to Nepal and its people.
