History
The Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management (BITM), (Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India), management institute run by Sri Balaji Society, Pune. It was establised in the year 2002 with a focus on the dynamic needs of the industry (Esp. Telecom Industry) in the ever-changing business environment and is driven by powerful forces of technological innovation, intense competition & globalization. Its is has been ranked 3rd amongst the top B-Schools in Telecom & Management in India by 'Outlook' (Dated September 27, 2004) and - Rated as 'A++' Grade B-School in India (Source: Business India, Nov, 1 2009).
BITM trains its student managers to become the enablers of tomorrow's world. It strives to transform individuals into multi-faceted, multi-skilled, multi-lingual, dynamic, well-groomed and well-trained corporate citizens through intense grooming with a variety of our course specializations ranging from Telecom, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Systems, with focus on IT & Telecom Management. Campus
Combined campus of Sri Balaji Society, Pune spread over a 14.5 acre area overlooking the city of Pune, the BIIB campus is situated on Mumbai-Bangalore Pass Highway. Apart from the state-of-the-art classrooms and conference halls, the campus has facilities which include:
- A Central Library which has over 1,00,000 books, reports, journals, periodicals, CDs and video cassettes.
- Separate in-campus hostels for boys and girls with all the necessary amenities.
- An Auditorium which is used to host national and international events.
- A Health Care Centre, which has an on-call doctor.
- A multicuisine Canteen and Mess which offer plenty of options in dining.
- The campus also has a Recreational Centre, Gymnasium and Swimming Pool to help students relax and rejuvenate.

- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Telecom and Marketing: Two year full-time
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Marketing & Finance: Two year full-time
Admission Procedure
The selection of the students for the 2 year residential MBA Programme is on the basis of [CAT Test] + Group Discussion + Personal Interview.
