Ayrton Cahan

Ayrton Cahan (born December 6, 2007) is an American open-wheel racing driver who competes in the USF Pro Championships for USF2000, with Exclusive Autosport. In 2024, he previously competed in the Formula Race Promotions Series FRP driving for Cahan Racing Team in the F1600 class. In 2025, he drove for Eric Langbein Racing in Formula Race Promotions and won the Series Championship.

Career

Karting (2022–2023)

Cahan began karting at the age of five, at his home track Suika Circuit, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2022 he expanded his racing career to regional competition with the Colorado Karting Tour. In 2023, Cahan took on the Challenge of the Americas in the Shifter Class Karting Series, then returned for another season with the Colorado Karting Tour, where he finished fourth in the Championship.

2024 F1600 - Formula Race Promotions

Cahan’s open-wheel racing career launched in 2024, with Formula Race Promotions. Competing in the acclaimed F1600 class, he finished eighth overall.

2025 F1600 Champion - Formula Race Promotions

In 2025, Cahan joined Eric Langbein Racing to again compete in the F1600 class. In the 20-race series, he secured two pole positions, four victories, 13 podium finishes, and won the Series Championship.
