In September 2016, According to the report, Avadim Technologies, Inc.would be building a new corporate headquarters in Black Mountain Commerce Park.
Avadim’s chief product line, Theraworx, is a skin cleanser used in hospitals and long-term care facilities to protect patients from infections. On March 23, 2017, the company announced it is developing a new class of biologic solutions based on pathogenesis-based therapies, also known as “PBTs,” which work to optimize the stratum corneum.
The company plans to expand using its $10 million in investment capital raised in 2016 and 2017. Woody said the company plans to go public in 2017.
In August 2017, Avadim introduced Theraworx Relief, a fast-absorbing foam or spray that can be applied daily to prevent muscle cramps and spasms. Theraworx Relief is said to be the company's proprietary product.
