Ava Gaudet
Ava Gaudet is an American television, film, and theatre actress/singer from Providence, Rhode Island.
Background
The multi talented Ava Gaudet comes from a family of performers. Her mother is an actress and both her father and brother are jazz musicians. She is best known to theatre fans as Maureen in both the national tour and Broadway productions of RENT and on television as the scheming next-door neighbor Gina Gambarro on the American dramedy series Ugly Betty.
In addition to those talents, Gaudet is a professional dancer as well as an accomplished singer/songwriter, having released a 4 EPs of Soul/R&b/Pop material with her husband (music producer/engineer) Rob Gaudet of First Degree Productions. Gaudet's first CDs were co-written with her brother Rob Schlink and recorded at S-Cubed Studios in Providence, engineered by her father Bob Schlink. In 2007 she will star alongside Ving Rhames in the feature film Evil Angel. She is also slated to play "Jessica" in the ABC/Touchstone pilot called "See Jayne Run".
