Assembly & Test Worldwide (ATW) is made up of a group of companies that started manufacturing high-technology machinery in the 1930s.

ATW is a global company that makes custom automation systems for a range of industries. These include the renewable energy, medical, consumer products, pharmaceutical, automotive, and appliance industries. ATW applies a wide range of technologies and engineered solutions in all components of discrete part processing.

Assembly & Test Worldwide provides specialties for a broad range of equipment needs, including assembly, test, custom processing, metalworking, and material handling. ATW provides complete turnkey design and builds services for their customers.

History

ATW has employees at 12 worldwide locations and has an approximate annual revenue of $150M. There are 7 sites in the United States; 1 in Brazil; 1 in Germany; 2 in China; and 1 in India. ATW sites total (687,000 sq. ft) with the largest being 350,000 sq. ft. at the Lebanon, MO site. ATW has sites totaling (372,916 sq. ft.) outside the US. ATW is a certified ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001. Also, ATW is VDA 6.4 in the German operation.

Market Segments

As of 2008, ATW’s market provided 44% of its services to the auto industry. Another 27% was towards life sciences.
