History
Atlas Systems was founded in 2003 by Venugopala Chalamala, with operations established in both the United States and India. In 2005, the company expanded its activities to California and began work with an enterprise Software company on a new product line. In 2006–2007, it opened a delivery and operations center in Bangalore, India, and expanded its client base across healthcare, automotive, media, and other sectors.
In 2008–2009, Atlas Systems launched PRIME, a platform for provider lifecycle and directory management used by healthcare organizations in the United States. In 2010–2011, the company expanded its IT services offerings to include infrastructure support engagements in sectors such as telecommunications, engineering, and data analytics.
In 2012, Atlas Systems introduced ComplyScore, a third-party risk management platform for enterprise governance and compliance requirements. Between 2014 and 2016, the company provided IT support services to clients in sectors including hospitality, retail, healthcare insurance, and energy.
In 2017–2018, Atlas Systems expanded its client base in sectors including banking, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality, and provided services to enterprise clients in the gaming industry. In 2019, the company introduced AInfinity, a platform for AI-driven automation and AIOps, and expanded its client engagements in retail and pharmaceutical sectors.
In 2023, Atlas Systems appointed a new Head of AI Practice and announced plans to develop an artificial intelligence lab. In 2025, the company established Atlas NextGen as a separate entity focused on IT infrastructure and managed services, and expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, including opening an office in Singapore and introducing ComplyScore in India.
