Astrachan Gunst Thomas Rubin, P.C. (also known as AGTR) is a mid-Atlantic law firm. With its principal office in Baltimore, Maryland and satellite office in historic Chestertown, Maryland, located on Maryland's rural Eastern Shore, AGTR is a big city law firm with small town appeal. • Jim Astrachan3 – Member of the Maryland, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia Bars. Selected as a Super Lawyer by Maryland Super Lawyers (2007–2010).4 Mr. Astrachan co-authors “The Law of Advertising and Mass Communications” with Donna Thomas and hosts a blog, “Trademark, Copyright and Advertising Law Madness,” which covers the latest legal developments in Advertising and IP.5 He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland School of Law6 and the University of Baltimore School of Law,7 where he teaches Trademark and Unfair Competition Law. Mr. Astrachan served as president of the Advertising Association of Baltimore8 from 2004-2007.
