AssuredPartners NL (formerly Assured Neace Lukens) is an insurance brokerage firm founded in 1991 by John Neace and Joe Lukens. With headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, the firm has more than 175 licensed agents and more than 900 employees operating in 37 offices.

As of July 2011, Neace Lukens was the 24th largest private insurance firm in the country as ranked by Business Insurance magazine. Neace Lukens was acquired by AssuredPartners, Inc. in September 2011; AssuredPartners, Inc., in turn, is owned by Apax Partners.

Leadership

The firm was founded in 1991 by John Neace and Joe Lukens. As of 2012, Larry Schaefer is the firm's president. Todd Stocksdale is the company's COO.

Acquisitions

In 2012, AssuredPartners NL acquired a number of local insurance firms in the South and Midwest: First Carolina Risk Management Advisors, Benefit Concepts Inc., Morehead Insurance, Matrix Benefits and Consulting Group, Arison Insurance Services, Inc., Jenkins Insurance Service Berryman Insurance It had previously acquired Ohio Benefit Group LLC, Lent Agency; Plamp-Keen Agency Inc., and the Phoenix office of The Horton Group. Additional acquisitions include: Gosnell Agency, Davis-Garvin, Schroeder Agency, Insurors, Buckley & Co., Creech & Stafford, Turner & Hamrick, LLC Premiere Coastal Insurance Group, Hukill Hazlett Harrington Agency, First Palmetto Insurance Agency, Colonial Insurance Agency, Greater South Agency, Bandy Van Cleave & Williamson, Western Rivers Insurance and Bohannon-Meyer Insurance, Inc.
