Association for Manufacturing Excellence

Founded in 1985 the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) is a not-for-profit association helping manufacturers in the pursuit of excellence. Providing valuable tools and programs such as Value Stream mapping, Kaizen, and other Lean initiatives. The AME provides hands-on events and workshops from practitioners who want to share their experience.

Conferences

The AME holds an annual conference featuring workshops, presentations, tours, keynote speakers, and much more. The 2009 annual conference will be held in Covington, Kentucky. The 2008 conference was held in Toronto, Ontario and hosted over 2500 Lean leaders from more than 35 countries.
